Vintage shopping is like treasure hunting. It really is, I mean you have to look through a pile of used, ripped or broken junk to find something truly beautiful. And in the end, it is usually worth it...finding something you love in a vintage shop is definitely more unique than buying something brand new or massed produced. You can easily end up wearing the same top as your best friend! Yesterday visited What Comes Around Goes Around in Soho. It's located between Broome and Grand St. The store has such a cozy and comfortable feel to it. There was a great selection of merchandise; from worn-in cowboy boots to fitted T's and studded jean shorts. Many designer items were also seen around the store. I completely stopped when a large display case of vintage Chanel jewelry in the back caught my eye. It was stunning; mostly gold chain necklaces, bracelets, and bangles. And the best thing about vintage finds? There's always a story behind every piece...a mystery that leaves you wondering where it came from. Now that's style meets story.

Have you seen the Christian Dior Fall Couture 2010? If not, do so. John Galliano does it again, it was quite a show to catch. Every single piece down the runway was bright and bold. Frills, sparkles, ribbons, crazy headpieces and dark lips...all inspired by FLOWERS. Two words: crazy beautiful.
