This weekend was absolutely beautiful out, so that called for a perfect day at the High-Line. Every time I visit there, I stop by The Chelsea Market. The Artists & Fleas Spring Pop-Up shop was open, and there were several different stands filled with unique clothing, jewelry, and other accessories. But what really stood out to me was one stand with the most innovative jewelry, called Churoncalla. Each piece was hand-made. The friendly owner, Fredy, was inspired by pieces from everyday items. He used the letters of old typewriters to make monogrammed bracelets, earrings, and cufflinks. I love anything monogrammed, since it adds a touch of personalization. Other pieces were made of spoons, stones, and even license plates. It's amazing how creative the line was. Want to learn more about Churoncalla? Visit their website to order something special of your own at http://churoncalla.com/ or stop by Artists & Fleas on 15th & 10th!
